1.2 Scope of Application
These Terms apply to orders placed by consumers and business customers through the Website, unless otherwise stated.
A "Consumer" is an individual purchasing products primarily for personal purposes unrelated to their trade, business or profession.
A "Business Customer" is an individual or legal entity purchasing products for business or professional purposes.
Certain rights and provisions in these Terms apply exclusively to Consumers.
1.3 Country-Specific Terms and Conditions
BRL Electronics operates in multiple countries. Certain aspects of purchasing, delivery, payment, returns, warranties and consumer protection may vary depending on the country of delivery.
Where separate country-specific Terms and Conditions are available for the selected delivery country, those terms shall apply in addition to these International Terms.
In the event of any inconsistency, the following order of precedence shall apply:
Mandatory provisions of applicable consumer protection law.
Country-specific Terms and Conditions applicable to the delivery country.
These International Terms and Conditions.
Country-specific Terms and Conditions are made available through the relevant BRL Electronics country website or during the purchasing process.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights granted under applicable national or international legislation.
1.4 Minimum Age
Customers must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
BRL Electronics does not offer credit purchases to individuals under the age of 18.
We reserve the right to refuse an order where customer information is incorrect, payment cannot be authorised or other legitimate reasons prevent the order from being completed.
2. Product Information and Website Content
2.1 Product Information
BRL Electronics strives to ensure that all product descriptions, technical specifications, images, prices and stock information are accurate and up to date.
However, errors or inaccuracies may occasionally occur.
Product images are intended for illustration purposes. Minor differences in appearance, packaging, colour or accessories may occur, provided that the delivered product conforms to the purchase agreement and applicable law.
2.2 Pricing and Information Errors
BRL Electronics reserves the right to correct obvious errors in product descriptions, pricing, specifications or availability.
If an obvious error is discovered before the purchase agreement has been concluded, we will inform the customer and provide the opportunity to proceed under the corrected conditions.
Any correction or cancellation after a purchase agreement has been concluded is subject to applicable law.
2.3 Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including trademarks, product images, graphics, text, design and layout, is owned by Winn Scandinavia AB or its respective licensors.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or otherwise used without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
3. Orders and Purchase Agreements
3.1 Placing an Order
To place an order, the customer selects the desired products, provides the required information, chooses an available delivery and payment method and accepts the applicable Terms and Conditions.
Before submitting the order, the customer will be presented with an order summary showing the selected products, prices, applicable taxes, delivery charges and any additional fees.
3.2 Order Confirmation
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
A binding purchase agreement is concluded when BRL Electronics expressly accepts the order by sending an order confirmation by email, or otherwise accepts the order in accordance with applicable country-specific terms.
An automated acknowledgement of receipt does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order unless explicitly stated.
Customers are encouraged to retain their order confirmation as proof of purchase.
3.3 Order Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may contact BRL Electronics to request cancellation of an order before dispatch.
Cancellation is possible provided the order has not reached a stage where cancellation is no longer possible, subject to any applicable statutory rights.
Where cancellation is accepted, any payment already received will be refunded using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 Cancellation or Refusal by BRL Electronics
BRL Electronics may refuse or cancel an order where there are legitimate grounds, including:
Products being unavailable.
Obvious pricing or product information errors.
Unsuccessful or unauthorised payment.
Incorrect or incomplete customer information.
Legal restrictions preventing fulfilment.
Where an order is cancelled, the customer will be informed and any payment received for the cancelled order will be refunded.
4. Customer Information and Accounts
4.1 Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete and current information when registering an account or placing an order.
BRL Electronics is not responsible for delivery delays or additional costs caused by incorrect customer information, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
4.2 Account Security
Customers must keep account credentials confidential and protect them from unauthorised access.
Any suspected unauthorised use of an account should be reported to BRL Electronics without delay.
BRL Electronics may temporarily suspend or restrict accounts where misuse, fraud or security risks are reasonably suspected.
5. Prices, Taxes and Payments
5.1 Prices and Currency
Product prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the selected online store or delivery market.
Prices include value-added tax (VAT) or equivalent sales taxes where required by applicable law.
Delivery charges, payment fees and any other applicable additional costs are displayed separately before the customer confirms the order.
The total price presented at checkout constitutes the price payable for the order, subject to applicable law and any clearly disclosed import charges.
5.2 International Orders and Customs
For deliveries outside the European Union or to countries with specific import requirements, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees or other charges may apply.
Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout or in the applicable country-specific terms, the customer may be responsible for such charges.
Information about any known additional charges, or how they may be calculated, will be provided before the order is placed as required by applicable law.
5.3 Payment Methods
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payment options may vary depending on the delivery country, order value, customer type and payment service provider.
BRL Electronics may use external payment service providers. Additional terms from the selected payment service provider may apply.
For invoice purchases, instalment payments or similar credit-based arrangements, a credit assessment may be performed where permitted by law.
5.4 Payment Processing
Payment may be collected when the order is placed unless another payment arrangement has been selected and approved.
BRL Electronics reserves the right to limit or withdraw individual payment methods where they are unavailable, cannot be authorised or cannot otherwise be used for the order.
5.5 Orders Outside Established Delivery Markets
Orders to countries not directly supported by a dedicated BRL Electronics online store may require manual processing by customer service.
Such orders may be subject to advance payment and separately agreed delivery conditions, costs or other arrangements.
Any special conditions will be communicated before the order is accepted.
6. Promotions and Special Offers
BRL Electronics may offer temporary promotions, discounts, promotional codes, bundle prices or special delivery offers.
Promotional terms apply only to the products and periods specified in the relevant offer.
Unless otherwise stated, offers are valid while stocks last.
BRL Electronics may modify or end promotional campaigns in accordance with applicable law. Changes will not affect already concluded purchase agreements.
Where required by law, information about previous prices or the lowest price during an applicable reference period will be provided.
7. Delivery and Shipping
7.1 Delivery Methods
Available delivery methods are presented during checkout.
Delivery options may include parcel delivery, collection points, home delivery, freight transport or pallet delivery.
Available services and shipping costs may vary depending on the country of delivery, product dimensions, weight and order value.
7.2 Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are displayed on the Website, during checkout or in the order confirmation.
For consumer purchases subject to EU consumer delivery rules, products will normally be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days after the purchase agreement is concluded, unless another delivery period has been agreed.
Other delivery periods may apply where permitted by law and specified in the applicable country-specific terms.
If delivery is delayed, BRL Electronics will inform the customer and handle the situation in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
7.3 Delivery and Transfer of Risk
For Consumer purchases, the risk of accidental loss or damage generally transfers to the customer when the customer, or a designated third party other than the carrier, physically receives the products.
If the customer independently appoints a carrier not offered by BRL Electronics, the risk may transfer when the products are handed over to that carrier, as permitted by law.
Different provisions may apply to Business Customers.
7.4 Uncollected Deliveries
Customers are responsible for collecting parcels within the collection period specified by the carrier.
Failure to collect a parcel does not automatically constitute a valid cancellation or exercise of the right of withdrawal.
If an uncollected delivery is returned to BRL Electronics, the customer may be charged reasonable costs resulting from the failure to collect, where permitted by law.
Applicable charges or methods for calculating such charges will be specified in the relevant country-specific delivery information.
7.5 Home and Pallet Deliveries
For home deliveries and pallet shipments, customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery at the agreed time.
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer may be responsible for arranging the movement of products from the delivery point into their home or premises.
Additional storage, redelivery or return costs resulting from a customer's failure to receive an agreed delivery may be charged where legally permitted.
7.6 Transport Damage
Customers are encouraged to inspect the delivery upon receipt.
Visible transport damage should preferably be reported to the carrier immediately and communicated to BRL Electronics as soon as possible.
Failure to inspect or report damage immediately does not remove or restrict a Consumer's statutory rights.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
8.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing products online generally have a statutory right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Within the European Union and the European Economic Area, the statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days from receipt of the products, subject to applicable exceptions and local legislation.
The exact statutory rights applicable to an order depend on the relevant national legislation.
8.2 BRL Electronics Extended 60-Day Return Period
In addition to applicable statutory withdrawal rights, BRL Electronics generally offers Consumers an extended return period of 60 days from receipt of the products.
To use this extended return period, the customer must notify BRL Electronics of the decision to withdraw from the purchase before the 60-day period expires.
The 60-day period begins when the customer, or a designated third party other than the carrier, receives the products.
For an order consisting of multiple products delivered separately, the period generally begins when the final product is received.
Country-specific conditions may specify additional details or different procedures.
The voluntary extension does not restrict or replace any statutory withdrawal rights.
8.3 How to Request a Return
To exercise the right of withdrawal or request a return, customers must clearly notify BRL Electronics of their decision.
Returns and withdrawal requests can be submitted through the return or service form provided on the relevant country website, or by contacting:
Customers may also use any applicable statutory model withdrawal form.
Use of an online return form is not mandatory where the law permits withdrawal through another clear statement.
8.4 Returning Products
Products must be returned without undue delay following notification of withdrawal.
BRL Electronics generally allows products to be sent back within 30 days of the withdrawal notification, except where country-specific terms provide another return deadline.
Products must be securely packaged to minimise the risk of transport damage.
Original packaging should be used where available, together with all included accessories, cables, manuals and other components.
Unless a different return address is provided, returns should be sent to:
Winn Scandinavia AB
Nastagatan 8
702 27 Örebro
Sweden
Returns should be sent directly to the designated business return address in accordance with the provided return instructions.
8.5 Return Shipping Costs
Customers are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning products when exercising the right of withdrawal, unless BRL Electronics has expressly agreed otherwise or applicable law requires BRL Electronics to cover the cost.
BRL Electronics may offer a discounted or subsidised return shipping label.
Available return methods and applicable fees depend on the delivery country and are communicated through the relevant return procedure.
For approved claims involving defective or non-conforming products, BRL Electronics will cover necessary return shipping costs in accordance with applicable law.
8.6 Condition of Returned Products
Consumers may inspect products to determine their nature, characteristics and functionality.
If a product has been handled beyond what is necessary for such inspection, BRL Electronics may deduct an amount corresponding to the actual reduction in the product's value, where permitted by applicable law.
Possible causes of reduced value include excessive use, physical damage, missing accessories or incomplete returns.
No automatic fixed deduction applies merely because a product's packaging has been opened.
8.7 Refunds
When a valid withdrawal is exercised, BRL Electronics will refund the relevant payments in accordance with applicable law.
Where legally required, refunds for a complete withdrawal will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered at the time of purchase.
Additional costs resulting from the customer's choice of a more expensive delivery method are generally not refunded.
Refunds will be processed without undue delay and, where the statutory rules require it, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notification.
BRL Electronics may withhold the refund until the returned products have been received or the customer has provided evidence of their return, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
8.8 Returns of Bundles and Promotional Packages
If a customer returns part of a discounted bundle or promotional package, BRL Electronics may recalculate the discount based on the products retained by the customer, where permitted by law.
Any adjustment must reflect the original conditions of the promotion.
8.9 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal and the voluntary return policy may be subject to exceptions permitted by applicable law and disclosed before purchase.
Depending on the relevant legislation, exceptions may include:
Products manufactured or personalised according to the customer's specifications.
Products cut or modified specifically for the customer, such as custom-length cables.
Sealed products unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken.
Sealed audio, video or software products where the seal has been broken and a statutory exception applies.
Other products expressly excluded by applicable law.
Standard products ordered specially from a supplier are not automatically excluded from withdrawal rights solely because they were not normally held in stock.
8.10 Business Customers
The statutory consumer right of withdrawal and BRL Electronics' voluntary extended return period do not generally apply to Business Customers, unless mandatory local legislation provides otherwise or BRL Electronics has expressly agreed to accept the return.
9. Complaints and Statutory Consumer Rights
9.1 Non-Conforming or Defective Products
Consumers are entitled to statutory remedies if a product is defective or does not conform to the purchase agreement.
These rights are governed by the applicable consumer protection legislation and may differ between countries.
The statutory period for making a claim may therefore vary depending on the customer's legal rights and the relevant country.
9.2 Submitting a Complaint
Customers who discover a defect should contact BRL Electronics as soon as reasonably possible.
Complaints can be submitted through the service or claims process on the relevant country website or by contacting:
Customers should provide their order number, product details, a description of the problem and, where useful, photographs or other supporting information.
9.3 Remedies
Where a product is found to be defective or non-conforming, the customer may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund, in accordance with applicable law.
BRL Electronics will assess complaints and provide an appropriate remedy within the time frames required by applicable legislation.
Where a return is necessary for an approved statutory complaint, BRL Electronics will cover the necessary costs.
9.4 Relationship to Warranty
Statutory consumer rights exist independently of any commercial warranty offered by BRL Electronics or the manufacturer.
A commercial warranty cannot exclude, restrict or replace mandatory statutory consumer rights.
10. Commercial Warranty
10.1 Warranty Period
BRL Electronics offers a voluntary commercial warranty on products in accordance with the applicable product information and country-specific conditions.
Unless otherwise specified for an individual product or market, the standard BRL Electronics commercial warranty is:
General products: 2 years.
Batteries: 6 months.
In-ear headphones: 1 year.
The warranty period generally begins when the customer receives the product, unless the applicable product-specific warranty conditions state otherwise.
More favourable warranty conditions may apply to individual products.
10.2 Warranty Coverage
The commercial warranty covers original manufacturing and material defects under normal and intended use.
The warranty does not generally cover defects or damage caused by:
Normal wear and tear.
Incorrect installation or configuration.
Improper handling or use.
Physical damage, moisture or liquid exposure.
Unauthorised repairs, modifications or alterations.
Incorrect electrical connections or power supply.
Other causes unrelated to an original manufacturing or material defect.
10.3 Warranty Claims
Warranty claims may require an inspection by BRL Electronics or an authorised service provider.
Where a product is covered by the warranty, BRL Electronics may repair the product, replace it or offer an equivalent product in accordance with the warranty conditions and applicable law.
The warranty period does not automatically restart following repair or replacement unless required by law or expressly stated in the applicable warranty conditions.
10.4 Statutory Rights
The commercial warranty is provided in addition to the customer's statutory rights.
Consumers may exercise their statutory rights independently of the commercial warranty, free of charge where required by law.
11. Business Purchases
11.1 Business Orders
Business Customers may purchase products through the Website where the relevant purchasing, payment and delivery options are available.
Separate business or dealer agreements may apply where expressly agreed.
11.2 Payment and Delivery
Business purchases may be subject to additional requirements concerning invoicing, credit approval, delivery arrangements and company information.
Applicable terms will be provided during checkout or agreed separately.
11.3 Returns and Complaints
Business Customers are not automatically entitled to the withdrawal rights granted to Consumers.
Business Customers must inspect delivered products and report defects or discrepancies in accordance with applicable law and any separately agreed business conditions.
11.4 Liability for Business Purchases
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BRL Electronics shall not be liable to Business Customers for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of revenue.
Any limitation of liability shall not apply where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory legislation.
12. Product Safety and Installation
Customers should use all products in accordance with their intended purpose, manufacturer instructions and applicable safety regulations.
Products requiring specialist installation or electrical work should be installed by suitably qualified persons where appropriate.
Damage caused by incorrect installation, unauthorised modifications or improper use may fall outside commercial warranty coverage and statutory defect liability where the damage is not attributable to an original product defect.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory product safety or product liability obligations.
13. Personal Data and Privacy
BRL Electronics processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
Personal data may be processed to manage orders, payments, deliveries, returns, complaints and customer service.
Further information about personal data processing and customer rights is available in the Privacy Policy on the relevant BRL Electronics website.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is provided in the applicable Cookie Policy.
14. Liability and Force Majeure
14.1 Liability
BRL Electronics is responsible for fulfilling its contractual obligations in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, mandatory product liability or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
14.2 Force Majeure
BRL Electronics shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform contractual obligations caused by extraordinary circumstances outside its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, war, terrorism, fire, industrial disputes, government restrictions, major technical failures, transportation disruptions and interruptions affecting suppliers or service providers.
Where such circumstances occur, BRL Electronics will inform affected customers when reasonably possible.
If fulfilment becomes impossible or is substantially delayed, the customer and BRL Electronics may have the right to terminate the affected purchase agreement in accordance with applicable law.
Where a valid termination occurs, refunds will be handled in accordance with the customer's legal rights.
15. Changes to Terms and Conditions
BRL Electronics may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The Terms applicable to a purchase are generally those in effect when the order was placed and the purchase agreement was concluded.
Changes to these Terms will not retroactively affect concluded purchase agreements unless expressly agreed and legally permitted.
The latest version will be made available on the Website.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms and purchase agreements with BRL Electronics are generally governed by Swedish law, unless otherwise specified in the applicable country-specific Terms and Conditions.
For Consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of protection provided by mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in their country of habitual residence, where those rules apply.
16.2 Complaints and Disputes
BRL Electronics aims to resolve complaints and disputes directly with customers.
Customers should initially contact:
Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, Consumers may seek assistance from the competent consumer protection authority or alternative dispute resolution body in their country, where available.
Information about recognised consumer dispute resolution bodies in the European Union and relevant neighbouring countries is available through the European Commission:
https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies
16.3 Jurisdiction
Disputes involving Consumers shall be resolved by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
For Business Customers, disputes may be subject to the courts of Sweden unless otherwise agreed or required by mandatory legislation.
16.4 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unenforceable or contrary to mandatory law, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
The invalid provision shall be replaced or interpreted in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
16.5 Language and Local Conditions
These International Terms and Conditions are provided in English.
Where country-specific Terms and Conditions are published for a particular delivery country, those terms take precedence over these International Terms in the event of a conflict, subject to mandatory applicable law.
Mandatory language requirements and consumer information obligations under applicable national legislation remain unaffected.
