What does accidental damage cover include?

BRL Electronics’ accidental damage cover provides extra protection against accidental damage that is not normally covered by the product’s standard warranty.

Accidental damage cover includes:

• Damage caused by accidentally dropping the product.

• Liquid damage, for example from spilling liquid on the product.

• Damage caused by lightning.

• Damage caused by power supply disturbances.

• Fire damage.

• Loss of detachable parts, such as a remote control or front panel.

• Damage that affects the product’s function or usability.

What is not covered?
There are certain exclusions. For example, accidental damage cover does not include:

• Normal wear and tear.

• Damage covered by the standard warranty or statutory rights to claim for faulty goods.

• Cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s function.

• Consumables and accessories, such as batteries and cables.

• Damage caused by incorrect installation or repair.

• Deliberately caused damage.

• Loss of the entire product.

Important information
For accidental damage cover to apply, the product must have been handled with reasonable care. For approved damage claims, the product may be repaired or replaced in accordance with the applicable cover terms.

An excess applies to claims.
