What warranty applies to products from BRL Electronics?
At BRL Electronics, our products normally come with a 2-year warranty unless otherwise stated. Some products have specific warranty terms or periods:
Batteries: 6-month warranty.
In-ear headphones: 1-year warranty.
Other products: 2-year warranty unless a different period is stated.
You can find information about any specific warranty terms on the relevant product page. The warranty period starts when you receive the product.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers original manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage or faults caused by, for example, incorrect use, negligence, incorrect installation or modifications you make to the product.
To determine whether a fault is covered by the warranty, the product must be inspected by BRL Electronics or an authorised service workshop.
If the fault is not covered by the warranty, or no fault can be identified, charges for inspection, shipping and handling may apply.
What happens if the product cannot be repaired?
If the fault is covered by the warranty and the product cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with a new or equivalent product.
A warranty replacement does not normally restart the warranty period. The original warranty period continues to apply.
What about accidental damage cover?
In addition to our standard product warranty, we offer the option to take out accidental damage cover when buying in our physical stores.
Accidental damage cover is separate additional protection that may provide compensation for certain types of accidents, such as accidentally dropping or damaging your product.
Accidental damage cover is available for 3 or 5 years and is subject to specific terms and excess charges.

A warranty and your statutory right to claim for faulty goods are not the same thing
The warranty is a voluntary commitment that applies according to the terms stated for the product. As a consumer, you also have statutory rights to claim for faulty goods.
Your statutory rights apply independently of the product’s warranty period and are not affected by whether you have taken out accidental damage cover.
Your purchase receipt serves as proof of warranty. Please keep it throughout the warranty period.
You can find full information about our warranty terms in our terms and conditions of sale.
